Kris Humphries plans to represent himself in divorce court

Kris Humphries is proving that he makes some bad decisions. His first was marrying Kim Kardashian, and now he is making his second bad decision by deciding to represent himself in his upcoming divorce trial.

Hollywood gossip site, TMZ, obtained court documents where Humphries listed himself as his attorney, which anyone can tell you is not a good idea, especially if you hope to win.

He initially wanted his Minnesota business lawyer to be his representation, but in California a local attorney must be by the side of an out-of-state attorney. Humphries then hired a L.A. divorce attorney, who just withdrew from the case, leaving Kris and his Minnesota attorney without a sponsor.

Humphries is trying to prove that his marriage to Kim Kardashian was a fraud, which will allow him to annul the marriage. He plans to expose some Kim’s secrets including the fake, scripted scenes from her reality show, her trips to a cosmetic surgeon and details about their non-existent sex life.

Humphries will be facing off with one of Hollywood’s most accomplished divorce lawyers Laura Wasser, who has represented the likes of Brittney Spears, Ryan Reynolds, Anjelina Jolie and Jennifer Anniston.

Humphries, who makes $8 million a year with New Jersey Nets, could certainly afford to find another divorce attorney from California, since this is not a traditional divorce trial which he will most likely lose when facing off with Wasser.
