Wrong-way driver in Missouri injures four people

St. Peters, MO- A wrong-way driver, late Friday night, sets of a chain-reaction accident, causing injuries to four people. The driver was one of the injured.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. when a 43 year-old woman, whose name is being withheld, was driving her Chevy truck east in the westbound lanes of North St. Peters Parkway. The truck driver then hit a Dodge Nitro head-on. When emergency crews arrived they had to extricate both women from their vehicles, who suffered serious injuries.

Immediately after the head-on collision, two other vehicles were hit, as well. Both if those drivers sustained minor injuries. No matter what the severity of the injuries, any victim can hire an accident attorney to recover their medical costs.

Police said that the woman driving the truck entered the highway going in the wrong direction as opposed to simply crossing the center line, since the parkway is divided by a construction site on that stretch. Police said the woman made a left turn off Central School Road, a quarter of a mile away from an accident scene.

Police suspect the woman may have been driving drunk and are waiting for blood test results before the issue charges.

An accident lawyer would have an easy time proving that a driver was negligent if they have alcohol in their system.  The expert representation of an accident attorney assures that personal injury victims will be able to seek a favorable settlement for their pain and suffering.
