It’s over for Dennis Quaid and Kimberly Buffington-Quaid. TMZ reports Buffington-Quaid filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. In court papers obtained by the celebrity gossip site, the former real estate agent says her 8 year marriage to Quaid is "insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities." She is seeking spousal support and requests that all property be equally divided. Quaid has asked that Buffington-Quaid be denied spousal support and receive nothing in their settlement.
A temporary court order instructs the exes to share custody of their 4-year-old twins, Thomas and Zoe. Buffington-Quaid has temporary possession of their main house and a Mercedes while Quaid only gets a condo and Cadillac for now.
Neither Quaid nor Buffington-Quaid has commented. This was Quaid’s third marriage. He was previously married to P.J. Soles and Meg Ryan.
