Judge grants Steve McNair’s wife overseer of his estate

Mechelle McNair who is the wife of slain NFL player Steve McNair stated that her husband left no will and a Nashville judge ruled that she will oversee his estate.  Davidson County Probate Judge Randy Kennedy is giving Mechelle sixty days to file inventory of Steve McNair’s assets.   At this time Mechelle McNair is unsure of her late husband’s worth but knows it is “of sufficient size to be administered.”  Mechelle listed herself and her two sons as heirs to the estate.  Steve McNair also has two other sons from a previous relationship.

 Police have confirmed that McNair was murdered on July 4 by his girlfriend who then turned the gun on herself.  Our hearts and prayers go out to the McNair family.
