A new Center for Disease Control (CDC) report shows that 1 out of 10 Native Americans living on reservations will die of an alcohol-related death. This alarming statistic reminds us of the increasing alcohol-dependency problem among inhabitants of Native American reservations. The report notes that the top two leading causes of alcohol-related deaths amongst Native Americans on reservations were car accidents and liver disease. These numbers are over three times that of the general population.
