Ben Flajnik’s journey on The Bachelor ended last night with an emotional proposal on a Swiss mountaintop, but before he made his final decision the 29-year-old sought advice from his mom, Barb, and sister, Julia. Although they loved Lindzi, both women felt Courtney appeared to be a better match for Ben. Julia even told Ben she thought Courtney “is more of what you want.”
In the end, Ben listened to his sister and sent Lindzi packing. Lindzi graciously accepted the rejection and wished the winemaker luck. "Well, good luck. And if things don't work out, call me,” she said.
Courtney’s arrival left Ben speechless and he stumbled over the beginning of his proposal. "What a journey. It's been an incredible road getting to this point with you. But I promised myself that I wouldn't get down on one knee again unless I was certain it was forever, and I want to tell you that you are my forever. You are my forever. And I have waited a really, really long time – a really, really long time to tell you that I'm in love with you more than you'll ever know and that this whole experience and journey has been worth it every step of the way,” he said.
Robertson fought back tears as Ben dropped down on one knee. "So, with all of that said, Courtney, will you marry me?" he asked.
"Oh, my God. Yes, of course I will,” Robertson said as Ben slid a Neil Lane diamond ring on her finger. "I love you so much. Oh my gosh, Ben. Beautiful. I love it. I will love you forever."
