It’s over for Twilight star Peter Facinelli and wife Jennie Garth. In a statement to Us Weekly magazine, the couple confirms they are ending their 11 year marriage.
"While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time,” the couple says.
Neither Facinelli nor Garth has commented on the reason for the split. The pair met in 1996 and tied the knot in 2001. They have three daughters, Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5,
Facinelli, 38, can be seen next opposite Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn Part 2. He is currently a regular on the Showtime series Nurse Jackie. Garth, 39, is best known for playing Kelly on Beverly Hills, 90210. She most recently appeared in the TV movies Accidentally In Love and A Christmas Wedding Tail.
