BCS Standings revealed; Ohio State stays on top, Michigan and USC flip-flop

The BCS standings have been revealed and the top three teams fighting for the chance to play for the national championship remain the same. Ohio State still holds firm to their number one spot while Michigan took the number two spot from USC.

While Southern California did slip to number three, the two teams in front of them are slated to play each other November 18. If USC remains unbeaten they will face the winner of Ohio State/Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl on January 8 for the national championship.

Standing on the outside is West Virginia and Louisville; despite being undefeated they trail the top three by a large percentage in the BCS voting. West Virginia is ranked fourth while Louisville is in the eighth spot.

Following the Mountaineers of West Virginia are Auburn, Florida and Texas. Despite each of these three teams carrying one loss on the season they are all in front of Louisville. Notre Dame dropped one spot to number nine in the poll after their last minute victory against UCLA on Saturday.

Both West Virginia and Louisville have a week off before facing each other on November 2 in Louisville.
