Jeffrey Locker Found Strangled and Stabbed in East Harlem

Motivational speaker Jeffery Locker was found strangled and stabbed in his car in East Harlem Thursday. Police sources say the Long Island native’s hands were tied behind his back and a cord was wrapped around his neck and tied to the headrest of his 2007 Dodge Magnum.

Locker’s car was parked at the Wagner Houses, a housing project in East Harlem. Witnesses say they saw Locker park his car and walk to Wagner Deli around 3 a.m. He bought a bottle of water and box of Trojan condoms.

Investigators believe that two killers were hiding in the 52-year-old’s car – one in the backseat with the cord and one in the front seat with a knife. Police are investigating whether Locker had regularly been visiting a prostitute in the Wagner Houses.

He was reported missing Wednesday night by his wife. “He was going into the city and coming home. He was supposed to be coming home. He was supposed to come home. He wasn’t there by choice,” Lois Locker says.

Locker was sued in April by a bankruptcy trustee who accused him of being an investor who profited from a $300 million Ponzi scheme run by Lou Pearlman, a former manager for boy bands including the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync. Locker denied knowingly participating in the scheme.
