"The immigrant investor visa program is designed to create more jobs in the country by attracting foreign money to the U.S., and there is no quota or waiting list for the EB5 visa," the deportation lawyer says.
The number is limited and very competitive for an H1B green card, Bartell said of the temporary work visa specifically targeted for those specializing in computer science, engineering, math, medicine and other professional areas that can benefit the U.S. workforce.
"While this entitles the holder to work in the U.S., there is a substantial waiting period," said Bartell, the consular processing expert.
The deportation removal lawyer said he and his staff know how to expedite the process so clients can improve their chances to receive work visas, including the 10,000 EB5 green cards that are given yearly.
Three basic requirements to get the EB5 Green Card are:
1- The non-citizen must develop a U.S. business or invest in an existing business that was created or restructured after November 19, 1990
2- The non-citizen must invest $1 million (or only $500,000 when investing in a targeted employment area) in the business
3- The business must establish full-time employment for at least 10 U.S. workers
As immigration reform initiatives continue, increased emphasis is focused on attracting and retaining more professional non-citizens to work in the country, start new businesses, and make investments for a more skilled workforce and boost the U.S. economy.
"I personally handle every employment visa application, and guide clients through the process as swiftly as possible," Bartell said, the fiance visa counselor.
