Charlize Theron has confirmed she adopted a baby boy. No other details, including the child’s age, have been released.
“Charlize Theron has adopted a child. She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson,” the 36-year-old’s rep said in a statement Wednesday.
Theron, who split from longtime love Stuart Townsend in January 2010, most recently starred opposite Patton Oswalt, Patrick Wilson and Elizabeth Reaser in Young Adult. She can be seen next in Snow White & the Huntsman and Prometheus.
