Hollywood, CA- Lindsay Lohan, who is no stranger to legal trouble, has been accused of hitting a club owner with her Porsche early Wednesday morning as she was leaving a Hollywood nightclub.
Authorities told TMZ that Lohan was attempting to make a three-point turn outside the Sayers club when she was swarmed by paparazzi and onlookers. In her haste, Lindsay grazed the club owner’s leg and fled the scene.
Officer Norma Eisenman, spokeswoman for the LAPD, told The New York Daily News, “After speaking to witnesses and the man who got grazed by her vehicle, police determined that she was trying to negotiate a U-turn in a parking lot and the vehicle grazed against the gentleman. There were no injuries and no property damage, so it was just paperwork.”
But now in a turn of events, the man sought medical attention and has decided to press charges and hire an accident lawyer to file a lawsuit against Lohan, who is still on probation.
A new charge, in this case hit and run could cause Lohan to violate her probation for theft and drunk driving, despite a recent positive progress report. Poor Lindsay can’t seem to stay out of trouble.
Accident attorneys make sure that people, who are injured by a careless driver, get the money they need to pay for medical costs they accrue. Any injury victim is entitled to compensation from the negligent driver and by retaining an accident attorney they will receive the maximum allowed by law.
