Relocate body fat through liposuction and grafting

There are a number of women who have thought about having a breast augmentation, buttocks enhancement or facial fillers, but shy away from these procedure because they don’t fill comfortable with putting synthetic implants or fillers in their bodies. There is an alternative and that is by relocating fat removed through liposuction into the breasts, buttocks or face.

Fat grafting has been gaining in popularity since women are concerned about putting foreign substances, such as saline and silicone breast implants in their bodies. Breast implants also require periodic replacements.

The fat removed through liposuction is processed through a centrifuge to separate any blood and water from the harvested fat. A board-certified cosmetic surgeon then injects the fat into areas where the patient wants some filling out. Although the breasts are one of the most common places for fat grafting, it is also effective if used as facial filler or to give the buttocks a fuller look. With today’s advanced techniques, 85 percent of the fat stays intact.

Not only can fat grafting help a person look more attractive and feel better about themselves, it has the additional benefit of combining two of the most popular cosmetic surgeries, liposuction and breast augmentation in one procedure.  This helps cut down the costs of two separate procedures recovery times. An experienced cosmetic surgeon can determine if this is the right technique for their patient and show the patient how their looks will be improved.
