Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to marry next month

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will tie the knot on November 18th in Italy according to a spokesman for Cruise.

After much speculation the Hollywood power duo have finally confirmed their plans to marry. It will be just over a year and a half since Tom went on bended knee atop the Eiffel Tower and proposed to the former star of Dawson’s Creek.

Since that April day the couple has been questioned constantly about their plans to marry. While never giving a firm date, the couple remained adamant about their plans to spend their life together.

This past April Katie gave birth to the couple’s first child, daughter Suri.

The birth and subsequent sheltering from public view of Suri sent photographers scrambling for the million dollar picture of the TomKat offspring. Just last month the pair appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair with Suri and dispelled any rumors that the birth never took place.

For the 27-year-old Holmes it will be her first marriage while Cruise, 44, will be entering his third.
