Web 2.0 Buzz Academy Helps Corporations Spread The Word Online

Michigan Web 2.0 company creates program to help corporations spread the word on the Internet.

Detroit, Michigan – Companies are scrambling to get the word out through economic means. Michigan based, I Cantu Media understands this dilemma and has developed a platform that enables large companies to get the word out cost effectively. This uses a wide range of press releases, online videos, link building and online web site awareness in a matter of sometimes minutes. The company is getting media listed on the search engines in most cases in under an hour.

“This is a far cry from a few years ago when corporations had to rely on pay per click to get the word out. Expensive Google Ad Words, PPC and other forms of paid online advertising pale in comparison to this program. We are able to get a company on Google in about 20 minutes. We build up a company image from the ground up. Best of all, the search engine rankings stay in position for months to come.” Says Web 2.0 innovator, Ted Cantu.

The idea to build this platform, ideally named, “The Buzz Academy” was to help corporations build a solid platform on the Internet for nominal fees. This creates a high visibility platform for companies to showcase their abilities without relying on traditional media such as television, radio or billboards.

“In the recent months we have seen the collapse of the Ann Arbor News, Northville newspapers, Oakland press news and the Detroit Free Press has announced that it will shorten their home delivery schedule. How in the world are corporations and medium business supposed to survive if they do not adapt to newer technologies?” asks Ted Cantu.

Ted Cantu is no stranger to change or innovation. In the mid 1990’s-2000’s Cantu has served with many companies including Cap Gemini, Capital Records, WWF, Lever Ponds and the famous Foote Cone and Belding just to name a few. He has worked through five generations of multimedia.

“The dot com wave was unfortunate. This boiled down to online websites being promoted heavily through traditional media such as television and radio. We had no search engine abilities back then. A lot of venture capital money was wasted on expensive Clear Channel spots, and Google Pay Per Click campaigns. But this time it’s a different ballgame. Search engines have been perfected in 2009 and this is the best way to build an online image. In short, it’s the cheapest way to build a brand.” adds Cantu.

Buzz Academy plans to roll out a training program but will limit it to just 25 companies. The program is not just limited to Michigan area businesses. I Cantu Media LTD has offices in Chicago and Stamford, Connecticut.
