The Hunger Games, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson, opens in theaters Friday, March 23. The sci-fi drama centers on a young woman who volunteers to take her younger sister’s place in the annual Hunger Games, a televised fight to the death between boys and girls from each of the 12 districts of the Capitol of Panem.
The film has a runtime of 2 hours 22 minutes and is rated PG 13 for intense violence thematic material and disturbing images.
