Mississippi State Running Back Anthony Dixon Arrested for DUI

Mississippi State Bulldogs running back Anthony Dixon was arrested on Saturday night and has been charged with driving under the influence after he refused to take a breathalyzer after police pulled him over.

The reporting officer noted that there had been two champagne bottles on the back floor of Dixon’s vehicle and the returning senior had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. He was also cited for careless driving and no proof of liability insurance.

Dixon rushed for 869 yards and seven touchdowns last year following a sophomore campaign in which he collected 1,066 yards on the ground and 14 TDs.
