Shaq gets a reality show on ABC

Shaquille O’Neal better known as Shaq will star in a new reality television series on ABC.  The show will feature Shaq taking on other top athletes in their own sports.  The show is called “Shaq Vs.”  It will premiere on August 18, 2009 at 9 p.m. ET.  The filming will start as early as Wednesday in Pittsburg.  He will take on Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburg Steelers.

In future episodes he will take on Michael Phelps, Oscar DeLa Hoya, Albert Pujols, Serena Williams, and Kerri Walsh to name a few.  This show seems as though it will be very entertaining.   Shaquille told USA that the show was his idea.  He thought it would be a great way to train for the upcoming NBA season.  The Cleveland Cavaliers have cleared O’Neal to take part in the show.  He will report to training camp on September 15, 2009.
