Survival Guide Unnecessary For One Academic Summer Camp
When parents send their kids off to summer camp, they often like to send them off with their own “summer camp survival guide”. This isn’t the case when it comes to SuperCamp, because the 10-day academic summer camp is designed to give students the tools to build their own life-long survival packs.
The summer enrichment program focuses on teaching kids and teens how to meet the academic, physical and emotional challenges of growing up in today’s world. This knowledge makes each camper mentally stronger, more focused, confident, and motivated.
The philosophy of SuperCamp is very simple – learning can and must be fun. With this said, parents don’t need to worry about preparing their pre-teens and teens for SuperCamp’s residential programs, because the program itself gives students advanced learning skills which prepare them for success when they re-enter the world after their 10-day summer camp experience.
SuperCamp’s Quantum Learning-trained staff is engaging, dynamic, and entertaining for students from middle school to college levels. The staff to student ratio is 4:1, and by the time lights go out at night, students are exhausted from their energetic day.
On graduation day, parents who dropped off a somewhat reluctant and nervous camper 10 days prior are usually shocked at the transformation their sons and daughters have had in such a short time. Reluctance and anxiety have now given way to smiling faces, confident, upbeat attitudes, and an eagerness to return to SuperCamp the following summer.
“It was the best 10 days of my life!” is a phrase commonly heard among SuperCamp graduates. Parents and campers both look back on the success-building program as a “great experience”, with parents agreeing that, “SuperCamp was the single best investment in my child’s life.”
In the case of sending a child to SuperCamp, it isn’t so much about summer camp survival, but rather, summer camp success. SuperCamp graduates and parents regularly report an improvement in grades, confidence and motivation for the vast majority of students. 98 percent of graduates report still using their skills into the school year and beyond.
SuperCamp is hosted on seven college campuses from coast to coast. With three age-specific programs, there is one available for all students age 11 – 24. Many SuperCamp programs are already filled up for the summer, but parents looking to give their kids last-minute summer enrichment are still in luck as not all camps are completely at capacity at this time. Parents are encouraged to visit www.SuperCamp.com or call 1-800-28-LEARN immediately for available program sites.
