College Summer Camp Helps Students Achieve College Success and Gain Valuable College Skills
College success does not come easily for most college students. It requires learning and applying college skills that are different from what students acquire in high school. At Quantum U’s college summer camps, students gain valuable learning and life skills that help prepare them for college success as well as a successful life after college.
College life is challenging. With large classes, unstructured time schedules, over-demanding professors, and new social circles, it can be fragmented, intense, and sometimes overwhelming. A typical day, if there is such a thing, can consist of classes, study time, friends, work, and perhaps squeezing in a workout. With a lack of college preparation, many students don’t know how to manage their time wisely, and as a result, their grades begin to suffer dramatically.
Luckily, there is a solution for students suffering with a lack of necessary college skills. Eight days at Quantum U will help improve college students’ chances of a happy and successful college career by providing the learning and life skills necessary to handle challenges, manage independence, and take full advantage of all of the exciting opportunities college has to offer.
At Quantum U, students learn how to manage their time, energy, and finances. They gain the focus and confidence to take ownership of their choices and actions. They improve upon their communication, presentation, study, writing, and reading skills. Bottom line – Quantum U gives students the college skills necessary to achieve college success both academically and in taking responsibility for their future.
Quantum U’s college prep program will be held this year at the Colorado College in Colorado Springs August 2-9. For eight days, students eat, sleep, interact, and learn on this beautiful campus in a safe community environment.
