New mom Beyonce is ready to get back to work. The singer, who gave birth to her first child with husband Jay Z just two-and-a-half months ago, has announced she will perform three concerts over Memorial Day weekend at the brand new Revel Resorts in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Tickets for the May 25-27 performances are slated to go on sale April 6. The concert will be held in Revel’s 5,050-seat Ovation Hall.
Beyonce and Jay Z welcomed daughter Blue Ivy on January 7 in New York City. The couple described her birth as “emotional and extremely peaceful.” "It was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support,” they said in a statement.
Beyonce made her first public appearance after Blue Ivy’s birth at Jay-Z’s Carnegie Hall show in early February. Since then she has been spotted out numerous times with Blue Ivy.
