Snoop Dogg arrested at California airport

The 35-year-old rapper, Snoop Dogg was arrested for carrying a firearm and possession of marijuana late Thursday. He was taken to the Burbank Police Department where ha was booked.

Calvin Broadus, the rapper’s real name, was arrested by airport police at the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California.

Snoop was reportedly parked in an area reserved for loading and unloading which drew the attention of an officer. Upon further investigation the officer found Snoop to be in possession of marijuana and a firearm. Because of a prior felony charge Snoop is not allowed to carry a firearm.

After posting $35,000 bail he was released from the jail.

Snoop’s lawyer, Donald Etra said, “We believe that once this is cleared up, all charges will be dismissed.”
