After nearly 12 years of marriage, Penelope Ann Miller is single again. The actress, who most recently appeared in the Oscar-winning film The Artist, filed for legal separation from husband James Huggins last week.
The documents were filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, March 14. Miller, 48, listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and requested that the court deny Huggins spousal support. She also asked for sole legal and physical custody of their two daughters, 11-year-old Eloisa and 2-year-old Maria, with visitation for Huggins.
Miller has not commented on the split. This was her second marriage; she was married to actor Will Arnett from 1994 to 1995. Miller's film roles include Adventures in Babysitting, Awakenings, Carlito’s Way and The Freshman. She will appear next alongside Bobby Coleman, Holliston Coleman and David Eigenberg in Robosapien: Rebooted.
