Pradaxa Lawsuit May Be Viable in Cases of Severe, Fatal Bleeds

A Pradaxa lawsuit may be viable for users of the blood thinner who suffered severe bleeding events, or loved ones acting on their behalf. Three Pradaxa lawsuits have already been filed on behalf of users allegedly harmed by the drug, and the attorneys working with ClassAction.org believe that more are expected. If you or a loved one suffered a serious bleeding event while taking this drug, you may be able to file a Pradaxa lawsuit seeking compensation for medical bills, funeral expenses and other losses. To find out if you have legal recourse, visit http://www.classaction.org/pradaxa.html for a free, no obligation case review.

One Pradaxa lawsuit claims that a Tennessee woman suffered a fatal gastrointestinal bleed, allegedly caused by the blood thinner. In the suit, the woman’s daughter and her Pradaxa attorney reportedly make allegations that the drug is no safer than older blood thinners and lacks a reversal agent. All anticoagulants carry the risk of severe and fatal bleeds, according to the FDA; however, while the anticlotting effects of older, more difficult-to-use blood thinner Coumadin (warfarin) can be reversed with a dose of Vitamin K, no such antidote exists for Pradaxa. Therefore, if a Pradaxa user suffers an unexpected bleeding event, it may be difficult to stop them from bleeding. This could be fatal if the user gets injured in a car accident, needs an emergency surgical procedure, or suffers a brain hemorrhage.

Patients who suffered serious or fatal bleeding events while taking Pradaxa have reported gastrointestinal (GI) bleeds, kidney bleeds, cerebral hemorrhages and other forms of internal bleeding. If you or a loved one has suffered a serious or fatal bleeding episode on this blood thinner, the Pradaxa attorneys working with ClassAction.org would like to hear from you. Simply visit ClassAction.org today to find out if you may be able to participate in a Pradaxa bleeding lawsuit. Potentially, a Pradaxa lawsuit could provide patients, or loved ones acting on their behalf, the opportunity to seek compensation for medical bills and other damages resulting from bleeding injury.
