Marvallous Keene Executed in Ohio for 1992 Killing Spee

A man who murdered 6 people on a 1992 Christmas holiday rampage was executed Tuesday in Ohio. Marvallous Keene, 36, died by lethal injection at Southern Ohio Correctional Facility. His execution is the second in Ohio in a week.

The Ohio Supreme Court denied a request last month to delay Keene’s execution. Keene, described as the leader of a group who called themselves the Downtown Posse, and 3 accomplices were convicted of murdering 6 people in a three day rampage that began on Christmas Eve 1992 in Dayton. Victims included convenience store clerk Sarah Abraham, teens Marvin Washington and Wendy Cottrill, Joseph Wilkerson and Danita Gullette.

Keene’s accomplices were sentenced to life in prison.
