After days of engagement rumors, Miley Cyrus has finally spoken out. The actress, who sparked the rumors over the weekend when she stepped out sporting what appeared to be a diamond engagement ring, tweeted Monday morning that she is not set to tie the knot with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. The former Hannah Montana star also noted that the stone is a topaz and not a diamond.
"I'm not engaged. I've worn this same ring on this finger since November! People just wanna find something to tal about! It's a topaz people!” the 19-year-old wrote.
Cyrus has been dating Hemsworth on and off for three years. They met on the set of the 2009 romantic drama The Last Song. Hemsworth, 22, currently stars alongside Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games. Cyrus can be seen next in So Undercover and LOL.
