Louisville, KY- One woman is dead and another seriously injured following an early morning head-on collision near Crestwood.
According to initial reports, a woman, whose identity has not been release, was traveling eastbound on Kentucky 146 around 6:30 a.m. when she crossed the center line and hit a van head-on.
The female driver died was pronounced dead on the scene.
The van driver, William N. Buntyn, 48, of Louisville was taken to a local hospital for serious injuries.
Police closed down the roadway for a few hours while they cleared the accident scene and investigated the cause of the fatal accident.
