Mike Lewis Attorneys Sponsors the Ronald McDonald House’s “Sport a Shirt, Share a Night” Fundraiser

Mike Lewis Attorneys is a sponsor for the Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem’s “Sport a Shirt, Share a Night” fundraiser. The event will take place on April 20, 2012. “Sport a Shirt, Share a Night” is when thousands of people across North Carolina will “sport” a $10 Ronald Mc Donald t-shirt in order to “share” a stay of one night at Ronald McDonald House with a family in need. T-shirts sold through the Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem will support the families of critically ill children being treated in the local area.

Families who stay at the Ronald Mc Donald House are asked to pay $10 per night, if they are able to. Some guests make partial payments and some ask their families, churches, or co-workers to take up a collection for the Ronald McDonald House when they return home.

The Ronald McDonald House is a ‘home away from home’ that provides families of sick children a place to stay while there child is being treated in the hospital. The house allows families to stay close to their ill children without having to endure expensive travel costs.
