Tarrytown volunteer ambulance workers allege sexual harassment

Tarrytown, NY- Nine women, who are former or current members of the Tarrytown Volunteer Ambulance Corps, alleged that a male peer sexually harassed them.

The unidentified man, 65, accused of sexual harassment is a 17 year veteran of the corps and is still a member but not on active duty. His status is in limbo as the allegations against him are being investigated.

The women alleged that the harassment goes back as far as five years and includes numerous incidents of unwanted comments and touching. One woman stated that the man once asked her if she was wearing a bra and what kind of underwear she had on then proceeded to tell her about his preference in women.  Another woman said he touched her shoulders and she informed him she didn’t like that.

The man is also accused of photographing a woman in an ambulance. And in another incident, one of the women recalled that the man put a patient in the ambulance with a breast exposed, which he made no attempt to cover while he flirted and complimented her.   

The woman say that no actions have been take against the man and his actions.
