Son of Osama Bin Laden Believed to Have Been Killed by U.S. Missile Strike

A son of al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden, Saad Bin Laden, is believed to have been killed by a U.S. missile strike in Pakistan earlier this year.

The death has not been confirmed but several reports have indicated that Osama’s third son was in a house that had been targeted by a Hellfire missile fired from a U.S. Predator drone. According to National Public Radio intelligence agents were “80 to 85%” sure Saad Bin Laden was dead.

It is not believed Saad was being targeted; rather he had been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
