Matt Cutts discusses the role speed and content plays in internet marketing

San Francisco, CA- In a recent help video Google’s Matt Cutts discussed the role that speed and content play in the way they rank a website.

According to previous discussions about how the search engine ranks a website, they have said that speed played a factor, but this affects only about 1 in a 100 searches. Pages that have content which causes the page to load more slowly can affect ranking but Cutts asserted that a webmaster should still allow their pages to be indexed by web crawlers.

Cutts said in the video, “As long as your browser isn’t timing out or being flaky, you should be in good shape,” adding, “Typically, as long as just a few pages are slow or the site is overall fast it’s not the kind of thing you should be worried about.”

While speed is a factor, content is also important and a legal internet marketing firms should provide high-caliber content. The emphasis on speed and content is to enhance the user’s experience.

Engaging content and fast loading page will keep a visitors attention and this especially important as a page’s rankings is also determined by the amount of time spent on a landing page. Legal internet marketing companies take all these factors into consideration and work hard to satisfy all these criteria.

Law firms who have to focus their energy on their business can hire a legal internet marketing firm to head-up their online marketing efforts and improve their websites ranking in search.
