Replacing Vince Locher, who has been appointed managing director of commercial real estate sales for the eastern half of Huntington’s footprint, Huntington Bankshares Inc, officially announced that effective July 27, David Hammer will be the new president of its Pittsburgh region.

Hammer is the former vice president and managing director of National City Corps’s wealth management operations in Pittsburg. Prior to this David Hammer also led its business segment for over six years. National City was acquired by PNC Financial Services Group Inc. last December. Hammer left PNC in late spring.
