Four women allege sexual harassment at Minneapolis Golf Club

Minneapolis, MN- Four former female employees have filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against two male supervisors at the Minneapolis Golf Club.

Three servers and one bartender allege that Carlos and Marlin Gray sexually harassed them in separate incidents ranging from 2008 to 2011. The women allege that the men subjected them to unwanted touching and sexual propositions. In one incident, Marlon Gray is accused of cornering one of the women in a building where he grabbed and kissed her.

All of the women reported the harassment to their supervisors and human resources for the club. But their allegations were ignored and the women were forced to quit or were fired. This is what sexual harassment attorneys refer to as retaliation.

Carlos Gray is the club’s food and beverage manager and Marlon Gray is the events captain who directly supervised the women named in the lawsuit. The Grays are still employed with the club.

The Minneapolis Golf Club denies the women’s allegations and said their claims are without merit.

The women filed the lawsuit seeking $50,000 in damages for sexual harassment, emotional distress and ignoring complaints.

The people subjected to pervasive and repeated harassment can retain a sexual harassment lawyer to seek compensation from their harassers and employers who fail to address the conduct. With the representation of an experienced sexual harassment attorney, the victims will be able to hold the people who engage in this type of behavior accountable for their actions.
