Suicide Bomber Kills at least Five at Concert Hall in Chechnya

A suicide bomber detonated an explosive at a concert hall in the Chechen capital of Grozny on Sunday, killing at least five people and injuring several more.

According to reports the bomber had attempted to enter the building moments before the start of a play but was stopped by police. At that point the man detonated his explosive, instantly killing four police officers and himself. At least one other person died while being transported to a hospital.

Officials are already saying the attack has ties to Islamist militants who strongly oppose the Moscow rule inside Chechnya.
