An Indonesian woman has given birth to conjoined twins
who share the same body. The twin boys were born via c-section Thursday in Riau
and weighed in at 7 pounds.
The yet-to-be-named twins share the same body and all
their vital parts – except their heart and their heads. They have two heads,
two hearts, two arms and 1 pair of lungs. “This is final. They can’t be
separated,” says Tubagus Odih, a child surgeon at Arifin Achmad Hospital where
the boys are in critical condition.
