French President Nicolas Sarkozy Hospitalized After Jogging Scare

French President Nicolas Sarkozy was rushed to a hospital Sunday after becoming faint while jogging with bodyguards. Sarkozy, 54, did not lose consciousness. He had been jogging near the Elysee Palace for about 45 minutes when he began to feel faint.

Initial test results did not show anything abnormal but Sarkozy’s heart will be monitored until Monday morning.

No other details on the incident were available. Sarkozy is currently resting at Val-de-Grace military hospital.
