Shakira has a Grammy fixation, takes home four awards at the Latin Grammy’s

New York’s Madison Square Garden owned by Shakira for a night.

Shakira was all over the Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday. When she wasn’t performing she was busy picking up another award. Shakira heard her name called four times. Each time she heard it, she collected a Grammy. Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Album all belonged to Shakira by the time the curtain fell.

While Shakira certainly had the best night, there were other multiple winners that considered the night a triumph. Calle 13 was awarded for their reggaeton sound with two awards and Gustavo Cerati duplicated the trick with Best Rock Song and Best Vocal Album
