Is Your Christian Drug Rehab To Blame For Your Relapse?

For many addicts, despite all their herculean efforts and hard work in rehab, they relapse back into their addiction. This is disappointing and frustrating.  Often the response is to blame your Christian drug rehab for your relapse. Christian addiction treatment is complex, and every addict responds differently to the process.   There is one important fact to remember however. No program can do the work for you. The reasons for your relapse are usually attributed to you – it is important that you take responsibility and control of the situation. Dust yourself off and try Christian drug rehab all over again.

When an addict relapses, it is unfortunate, not only for the addict, but for the team of counselors that have invested so much into helping that addict achieve recovery. It can be a defeating experience for everyone involved, but passing blame will not help things. Christian drug rehab strives to help every addict achieve recovery and strengthen their physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Christian addiction treatment wants every addict that passes through their doors to be successful, but the reality is, not every addict will achieve sobriety the first time they attend a Christian drug rehab. This can lead to much frustration and dissapointment. There can be many factors involved that can influence the outcome of treatment.  Often addicts have to repeat a Christian addiction treatment program several times before they achieve their desired result – recovery. This is the nature of the beast of addiction. Failure is not chastised, and addicts who choose a Christian drug rehab program are warned of this possibility at the start of treatment.

When addicts are aware that they may not reach their goal the first time out, they are more likely to understand the process. It will be different for every person, and recovery happens when all the ingredients mix together in the right recipe. Christian drug rehab wants to celebrate every addict's recovery. It is just the reality that recovery will not come easily to every addict the first time.
