Less than a year after filing for divorce from first husband Corey Simms, Leah Messer has tied the knot again. The Teem Mom 2 star, who has 2-year-old twin daughters with Simms, wed boyfriend Jeremy Calvert in front of about 20 guests at the Catlettsburg Wedding Chapel in Catlettsburg, Kentucky last Wednesday. The wedding, officiated by Rev. Marty Gute, was filmed by MTV.
"Everybody was happy and joyful and took a ton of pictures. I think they wanted to keep it out of the news, but the producer said he knew it would hit Facebook soon. He asked my daughter not to tweet about it, though,” Gute told a local media outlet.
Messer, 19, has not commented. She reportedly plan to have a larger wedding in the near future.
Calvert popped the question with a 1.5 carat princess cut diamond ring on Christmas Day. “I bought an ornament for the tree that said ‘Engaged’ with both our names on it and the date. And when I saw Leah looking at it, that’s when I gave her the ring,” he told Reality Weekly in early January.
Calvert also confirmed Messer was pregnant with their first child together, but just weeks after the announcement Messer suffered a miscarriage.
