A three-day event for those who travel in their RVs, or dream about traveling by RV while working at various campgrounds, state and federal parks, theme parks, resorts or any job imaginable, will take place in Heber Springs, Arkansas, home of Workamper News headquarters in North Central Arkansas. The event is scheduled for April 17 through April 19, 2012, at the southern doorstep to the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Heber Springs is famous for its’ abundant outdoor activities, especially on Greers Ferry Lake and the Little Red River. Camping in their RV at one of the numerous Corps of Engineer parks in the area, the RVers will get together for fun, networking and learning how to be successful Workampers.
15 different seminars covering a wide range of Workamping topics — “experiencing the Workamping lifestyle to RV Maintenance and Repair Knowledge to “Disinherit the RV Service Guy.”
Several Featured Employers will virtually attend and share their insight into the Workamper programs they have established and possibly be scouting for future positions with their companies.
America’s love of cooking won’t be left out, when Evada Cooper, author of the new RV Centennial Cookbook attends for a book-signing.
More than anything, getting together with like-minded individuals and couples who enjoy America, one job at a time, will be the highlight of the programs.

The term Workamper, a registered trademark, was coined by then-owners Greg and Debbie Robus, to describe anyone who combines any kind of work with the RV camping lifestyle. Techie-husband Luke Duquette, came on board in 2010. Seven employees work in-house at 110 Tulaka Blvd, Suite C in Heber Springs, AR.
