Web Marketing Association grants awards for website excellence

The Web Marketing Association announced that they are taking entries for their 16th annual WebAward competition which recognizes individuals and legal internet marketing teams for outstanding websites.

The WebAwards is a competition that honors excellent websites that meet the Web Marketing Associations criteria. The company’s press release says it will judge a website based on the following criteria, design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use. Each entry is judged along with other entries in the same field and then against all entries to establish an overall standard of excellence.

Awards will be given for “Best of Industry” for entrants representing 96 different categories which include financial services, small businesses, travel, advertising, medical, transportation and government.

The most prestigious award is the “Best of Show” and will be granted to the website that demonstrates the pinnacle of web design.

For legal internet marketing firms an entry in the competition will give them valuable feedback from their peers in the industry and help them determine how to make improvements on their websites if needed.

Entry deadline for the WebAward is May 31st. Judges for the competition include top executives from such notable companies as Yahoo, Chrysler LLC, Baylor University, Boeing, PayPal and Website Magazine.

The WebAwards is an internationally known competition. Winning a web excellence award can help boost legal internet marketing for the entrants though recognition of their efforts.
