A Pasco man is lucky to be alive after a collision with a semi-truck causes his car to flip over on the blue bridge.
The accident happened around 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon when a semi-truck attempted to change lanes and hit a passenger car in the right lane flipping the car on its roof.
The driver of the car, Barnado Torralbo, described what happened to the NBC station, “I was in the right lane and he hit me, and I tried to stop the car and all that, but it didn’t even work and I flipped over and all that. I just go out and made sure I was safe.”
Torralbo suffered minor cuts to his hands but his car appears to be totaled.
The truck driver was not injured and was issued a citation for the accident.
Although this accident did not end in tragedy, numerous truck accidents cause serious personal injury and the victims are faced with mounting medical costs. These injury victims won’t have to pay for their medical care out of pocket when they retain a truck accident attorney to seek compensation.
Truck accident lawyers have the necessary skills and expertise to negotiate with insurance companies or file a civil suit on behalf of the people who are injured or have costly property damages. Accident victims who retain a truck accident attorney are assured that they will receive a favorable settlement from a negligent driver.
