Two favorite couples landed in the bottom two this week on Dancing with the Stars, leaving judges and fans shocked. A combination of fan votes and dance scores determined that either Sherri Shepherd or Roshon Fegan would be booted from the competition. Head judge Len Goodman expressed his shock at the results.
"All of us judges are in total shock. After 14 seasons, we figure anything can happen, but this is beyond," he said. “The standard is so high, anyone can be in jeopardy, anyone can be safe.”
Shepherd was visibly heartbroken when it was revealed she had the lowest score and was out of the competition. The View co-host broke down in tears while thanking fans and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy. "I just want to say thank you for letting me live a dream I've always had. I had the most amazing partner, Val Chmerkovskiy. That thing that scares you the most ... run towards it because it's so amazing on the other side ... I had the most amazing time,” she said.
The contestants returning to compete next week are: Roshon Fegan, Gavin DeGraw, Maria Menounos, Jaleel White, Gladys Knight, Donald Driver, William Levy and Melissa Gilbert.
