Khloe Kardashian has given her blessing for her older sister’s rumored romance with Kanye West. In an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday, the reality star called West a “great family friend” and said she thinks the rapper and sister Kim Kardashian make a good couple.
"Honestly, we've known Kanye forever. I love Kanye,” Khloe told DeGeneres.
"I think they're cute together. ... I think friendship is where good relationships stem from,” she said.
Rumors of Kim and Kanye’s relationship turning into something more than a close friendship hit the web last week. An insider told People magazine the pair decided to give dating “a try” and are “seeing where it goes.”
Kim, 31, is currently in the middle of divorcing her second husband, New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries. They tied the knot last July and split just 72 days later with Kim filing for divorce and Humphries requesting an annulment.
"I like Kris as a person. I just didn't think [he] and Kim were compatible together,” Khloe, who is married to NBA star Lamar Odom, told DeGeneres Wednesday. "I was the only one to tell her that. I don't know why no one else told her that. ... She got mad at me."
