Vigilantes shoot two immigrants in Arizona

Police are looking for two gunmen who opened fire on a vehicle with 20 to 30 illegal immigrants, killing two men.

The area were the men were shot is a known for human and drug trafficking. Attacks like these have been on the decline in recent years because of increased border patrol.

Two gunmen dressed in camouflage and carrying assault rifles opened fire on the truck killing two men. Police identified one of the men as a citizen of Mexico; the other man has not been identified but may be from Guatemala.

Police say that rip crews patrol the border in an attempt to extort money and confiscate drugs from people suspected of entering the country illegally. This activity has lessened over the years, but these incidents still occur.

Police have not identified the shooting suspects.

Entering the U.S. illegally has its consequences. Aside from potentially being victims of a crime near the border, immigrants who don’t get the necessary document, which is easier with an immigration attorney, face deportation and bias.

Activity at the border increases in the spring as migrant workers enter the country to look for farm and construction work. It is possible for an immigration lawyer to obtain working visas for a large number of immigrants so they don’t risk their lives entering the country illegally.

Anyone considering migrating to the U.S. is advised to seek out the help of an immigration attorney who can detail the steps they need to take. y
