Monsieur Lazhar, starring Mohamed Fellag, Sophie Nelisse, Emilien Neron, Danielle Proulx, Brigitte Poupart, Louis Champagne, Jules Philip and Francine Ruel, opens in theaters Friday, April 13. The comedy/drama follows a substitute teacher as he tries to help an elementary school class heal after the death of their teacher.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 34 minutes and is rated PG 13 for mature thematic material, brief language and a disturbing image.
