Star of the long-running soap opera “Emmerdale” talked openly about her cosmetic surgeries which include liposuction, two breast augmentations and Botox, joining the long list of celebrities who have lately admitted to getting a nip and tuck.
The 35 year-old actress, talked to the Daily Mail and said, “It used to be a real taboo admitting things you had done but I never felt that way. I’ve always been very open about what I’ve had and why I’ve done it,” adding, “The way I see it, if I want to have my boobs done or a little bit of lipo, I will do. It’s no one else’s business really.”
Celebrities and television personalities have to adhere to stricter standards of beauty than your average man or woman, so they often seek out plastic surgeons to enhance their looks through liposuction, plastic surgery or cosmetic fillers. And because celebrities are open about their cosmetic surgeries a great deal of the negative stigma associated with altering the body has lifted allowing the cosmetic surgery industry to grow.
