Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie get engaged after seven years

Rumors that the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were engaged surfaced over the weekend when Angelina was spotted wearing a large diamond at a quiet event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. And now sources have confirmed that it is indeed an engagement ring designed by Pitt himself.

Pitt’s manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante told USA Today, “Yes it’s confirmed. It’s a promise for the future, and their kids are very happy. There is no date set at this time.”

Pitt and Jolie have six children together and decided it was time to cement the relationship. The power couple delayed marriage saying they wanted to wait until it was legal for all people in the U.S. to get married, but their children really wanted them to make it official.

The stunning engagement ring was designed by himself who picked the finest quality diamonds and hired a well-known jewelry designer, Robert Procop to craft the ring. It took Pitt nearly a year to perfect the design.

This is indeed a happy occasion for Pitt and Jolie along with their children and everyone wishes them the best.

High-profile couples who decide to tie the knot are often advised to seek out the help of a divorce attorney to write up a pre-nuptial agreement. Though many couples think they will live in wedded bliss forever some couples don’t make it and find they eventually need a divorce lawyer to dissolve their marriage.

With a pre-nuptial, a couple and their divorce attorneys can avoid a prolonged battle over their mutual assets, custody and spousal support.
