Another week, another Dancing with the Stars injury. This time it’s Cuban actor William Levy who is in danger of being forced to leave the competition. Levy says he hurt his ankle “pretty bad” while rehearsing his routine for Monday’s show. He is set to have an MRI to determine the severity of his injury.
"Just Wanted to let u know that I injured my right ankle pretty bad during rehearsal.. MRI tomorrow. I'll let u all know .. Love u all," Levy, 31, tweeted.
Last week actress Melissa Gilbert sustained head injuries during her performance and had to be carried out of the studio on a stretcher. Doctors determined Gilbert suffered a mild concussion and whiplash. She skipped Tuesday’s results show to rest, but was back to rehearsals on Wednesday.
Maria Menounos was the first contestant to be injured this season. About one week before the March season premiere the Extra host broke two ribs while rehearsing her cha cha. Her injuries didn’t stop her from competing and she became an early frontrunner.
