Arch Coal, Inc. have officially set priced its public offering of common stock. The offering was made pursuant to an automatically effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 and prospectus previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Official statement from the company said that it has agreed to sell 17,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $17.50 per share. The company also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to acquire up to an additional 2,550,000 shares of its common stock on the same terms and conditions.
